flow regulator with thermal switch (thermal tripper)

Flow regulator with thermal switch, also called thermal tripper is used for supplying pneumatic desmoking actuator from its integrated CO2 cartridge or CO2 installation. The released gas is directed to pneumatic smoke exhausting actuator, causing the lifting of flap.

Types:

  • TAVE/TAG WV – single-step
  • TAVZ/TAG W – double-step,

  • TAVE / TAG WV type
    smoke exhausting function: manual and remote flap opening (opening only),
  • thermal trigger designed for working with alarm box with manual alarm opening function only,
  • may be used for single and triple-pipe installations (see sample pneumatic control system design on pages 195-196),
  • 2 x 1/8” connections,
  • integrated entry valve for system bleeding or connecting other control devices (e.g. alarm or ventilation box),
  • optional remote triggering through electric or pneumatic signal, allowing for co-operation with other control systems, e.g. fire alarm system.

 

TAVZ / TAG WV type

  • smoke exhausting function: manual and remote flap opening and shutting (opening, and possible remote shutting),
  • thermal trigger designed for working with alarm box with manual alarm opening and shutting function,
  • may be used for double and four-pipe installations (see sample pneumatic control system design on pages 197-198),
  • 4 x 1/8” connections,
  • integrated entry valve for system bleeding or connecting other control devices (e.g. alarm or ventilation box),
  • optional remote triggering through electric or pneumatic signal, allowing for co-operation with other control systems, e.g. fire alarm system.
