mcr Polylack A - intumescent paint system for fire protection

European Technical Approval ETA-17/0735

Certificate of Constancy of Performance: 1301-CPR-1376

Declaration of Performance: 81250

According to EN 13501-2:2007+A1:2009, the mcr Polylack A is compliant with the following resistance classes:

  • R15 to R60 – open sections – posts and beams
  • R15 to R60 – closed round and rectangular sections – posts
  • R15 to R60 – closed round and rectangular sections – beams

The mcr Polylack A solvent-based intumescent paint system is used for fireproofing steel structures in the building industry. It can be used both indoors and outdoors at partial exposure, especially where high visual value of the protection to be made is required.

The fire resistance of the system is ensured by the proper selection of its thickness, depending on the U/A ratio of the protected part, the required fire resistance class, and the critical steel temperature.
